Apartment Hunting Nightmares
When you’ve lived in a place for a while, you never remember the long search for said apartment as being a difficult experience, sometimes even longing back on how easy it was. But when you’re thrown back into the midst of the hunt, all the misery of the process comes rushing back. I’ve been [...]

Just so you all know…
We miss you all like crazy. Sure NZ is fun (especially Fjordland, which is totally amazing), but nothing beats hanging out too late with all of you at Coney Island. If you were there, you know. If you weren’t, this gives you an idea of how we used to roll.

Fjordland – Part 1: Lake Hauruku Hike (Nov 26)
Fjordland is insane. There’s no other way to put it. I’ve only just started culling down the 414 photos, and that’s why this section of our road trip has taken so long to get online. I also know no one wants to trickle through 414 photos. Then again, you’re at work and have nothing better [...]

Today is Thanksgiving in the US. It’s strange because for us here in NZ it’s Friday and technically Thanksgiving for us was yesterday – or was it – what’s the rule on that? Regardless, we didn’t really celebrate either way. [...]

Nov 23: Rounding the corner of The Catlins
Photos!
Our journey at this point (Nov 23), is revving up into high gear as we drive through some of the most amazing and diverse landscapes that exist on the planet. Honestly! The photos never do it justice, but it’s the best we can do until you visit.
The Catlins are a region on the South-East corner [...]

The future is looking bright!
Urs and I are thinking about applying to this job. I, of course, would be the manager. I’m already devising costume ideas in my mind!

What the ****?
This is the strangest job posting I have ever read…
All we need is a cracker
At Salt we specialize in putting together the right cheese with the right cracker – it’s our craft after all. Right now we have some big cheese clients (and some medium-sized and little ones too) needing crackers who know all about [...]
